Marinaded Pork Chopc

Marinaded Pork Chops

I choose to serve these with one of my favourite Salads, esp when cooked on the BBQ on a nice summers day.

For those days when it’s not so sunny and you crave comfort food then go with Creamy Mash, some nice veg and a bit of Bisto Gravy or a nice Mushroom Sauce goes great too, though not the healthiest option, so best only once in a while.

I prefer a thin chop if buying from the supermarket as they can be tough when too thick, best go to the butcher if you can, then you can get nice thick ones.

Marinaded Pork Chopc

Allergens : Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Nut Free
Pork Chops - 1 or 2 per portion
Olive Oil - 3 tblsp
Paprika or Smoked Paprika - ½ tsp per chop
Cracked Black Pepper - ¼ tsp per chop
Salt - Pinch
Garlic Clove - 1 very finely chopped

Pour the oil into a bowl large enough to hold the chops
Add the paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper
Place the chops in the bowl and mix well so each chop is well covered in the marinade, cover well with cling film or a tight lid and leave in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, leave overnight for best results
Either pan fry the chops or preheat the grill to high then grill until cooked right through. Cut into one and check if unsure. Pork should never be served undercooked.
