Savoury Mince Stew
Savoury Mince Stew has always been my favourite dinner of all time, esp on a cold day though I would even eat it on the hottest day. My mum made it better than I ever could, she was an amazing cook.
I introduced it onto a bar menu in Hong Kong a few years back and it ended up being the biggest seller, the Chinese people had never seen anything like it before and loved it.
It is simple to make and a great way to get some veggies into the kids, plus it is dead cheap to make. Try using the best mince you can get or it could end up greasy.
If you can’t afford a steak mince, then cook the mine first then strain it before adding to the rest of the ingredients as per the recipe.
The tin of chopped tomatoes make it really rich and gives it so much flavour.
